SmartShow

A complete virtual events platform that took traditional equestrian shows online — and automated them from the first entry to the final result.

The problem

An online equestrian show body set out to move a deeply traditional, offline sport into a digital arena. The admin was crushing: reconciling payments, sorting hundreds of entries, managing and playing back video, totalling scores and sending every rider a report.

What we built

    An online entry and ordering system with a payment gateway API integration.

    A competitor dashboard with individual horse and rider profiles, images and a full record of results.

    Enhanced video storage, with every video automatically allocated to the right horse and rider.

    A show organiser dashboard with automated show schedules, riding times and sorting into the correct class divisions.

    Direct integration with SmartJudge, receiving show scores automatically.

    Automated results — ranking leagues, social media post designs and downloadable announcements.

    Integrated Claude API for content and post creation, and the Meta API to publish every result to social media instantly.

    Integrated The Courier Guy API to automate shipping and waybills for every show winner, and the YouTube API for video storage and playback.

Finance: a live income statement per show — card sales, sponsorship and every expense.
Entries & payments reconciled checkout-by-checkout against the payment gateway.
Results flow in from SmartJudge, ranked per class — scorecards, certificates and prizes one click away.
The scorecard email each competitor receives, with their own PDF attached.
The full scorecard PDF: every movement mark, coefficient and judge’s comment.
The Courier Guy integration: choose a parcel size with live locker-to-locker rates…
…and the waybill is booked — tracking reference and drop-off PIN issued instantly.
