How we work
Two ways in.
Both built for ambition.
Own your system outright, or build it with Khula as your technology partner. Part of every discovery call is working out which path takes your business furthest.
Own it
You own the system outright.
Flexible payment options available.
We build it, we hand it over, and it is yours — code, data, accounts, documentation. No licence, no lock-in, no monthly fee for the privilege of using something you paid to build. If you want us to keep maintaining it, that is a separate decision you make later, not a condition of getting the work done.
- A fit when
- You want the asset on your balance sheet
- The system is core to how you make money
- You have, or plan to have, someone technical
- 1
Discovery
We map the problem properly before quoting anything.
- 2
Fixed scope
A defined build, a defined price, a defined end.
- 3
Build
Weekly demos. You see it working before you pay for it.
- 4
Handover
Code, docs, accounts and a walkthrough. Yours.
Partner with Khula
We build it and carry part of the risk with you.
For ventures where the idea is strong and the upfront capital is not there yet. We invest build capacity in exchange for an agreed stake or revenue share, and we stay in the business as the technical partner. This is a smaller number of deals, chosen carefully, because it only works when both sides are genuinely committed.
- A fit when
- A venture, not an internal tool
- You bring the market, we bring the build
- Both sides want a long relationship
- 1
Conversation
An honest one about whether this fits at all.
- 2
Joint model
We build the numbers together before the product.
- 3
Terms
Equity or revenue share, written down plainly.
- 4
Build & grow
We stay technical partner as it scales.
What we will not do
Quote before we understand it
A number produced before discovery is a guess with a decimal point. We will not give you one.
Build something you cannot leave
No proprietary lock-in, no hostage data. If you want to walk, you can walk with everything.
Take work we are wrong for
If an off-the-shelf tool solves it for a fraction of the cost, we will tell you which one.
Disappear after handover
Support is a choice you make, not a dependency we engineer in.
